Removal of Personal Protection Weapons

Members will no doubt be aware that unless a specific threat can be proven, their Personal Protection Weapons are being withdrawn. It has been suggested that all members affected should sent a written appeal to the Secretary of State at Stormont and request confirmation from him that if the weapon is withdrawn that you family will receive suitable compensation in the event of something happening to you.
